EPI Professional Teaching Certificate Virtual Information Session

The Educator Preparation Institute (EPI) at SCF will host free virtual information sessions for individuals interested in earning a professional teaching certificate. The program is for anyone with a bachelor's degree in a noneducation major and teachers with temporary certificates. 

The sessions will cover the application process, curriculum and courses, and program requirements.

The EPI program offers blended evening classes with online components one night a week over two semesters to make participation accessible to working professionals. The cost for the EPI program is about $2,800. Upon completing the EPI program and successfully passing required state exams, graduates are eligible for the Florida Department of Education's professional teaching certificate.
