The 20th Annual Scholarship Luncheon will be hosted virtually on Wednesday, November 18, 2020, 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. (EST).
Erin Gruwell, educator, author, motivational speaker and founder of the Freedom Writers Foundation, is this year’s keynote speaker. Her work inspired the 2007 film Freedom Writers and the 2019 PBS documentary Freedom Writers Stories from the Heart. Our focus is on the expanding teacher shortage in our community and highlight the wealth of affordable educational opportunities SCF offers current and aspiring educators, including:

- $100 �" Includes virtual access to Erin Gruwell’s keynote presentation and a delicious hand-delivered lunch catered by Michael’s On East (local deliveries only).
- $25 �" Includes virtual access to Erin Gruwell’s keynote presentation only.
- $10 (prior to October 31) �" Discounted tickets are available to our region’s educators for virtual access to Erin Gruwell’s keynote presentation. Tickets will be $25 on and after November 1. Please contact Nicole Brown via email at BrownN1@SCF.edu to receive a discount with your ticket purchase.
