The Faculty Lecture Series at SCF presents "What Does the Fed Actually Do? Facts vs. Myths". Kristen Zaborski, associate professor of economics at SCF, will discuss important aspects of the Federal Reserve System, including the history of the Fed, the two main parts of the Fed, the role of banks in the economy, and the Fed’s response after 9/11. 

A recipient of the prestigious Award for Innovative Excellence in Teaching and NISOD, Professor Zaborski joined SCF in 2010.
