Educator Preparation Institute at SCF: Virtual Information Session

The Educator Preparation Institute (EPI) at SCF will host three virtual information sessions for individuals interested in earning a professional teaching certificate. The program is for anyone with a bachelor's degree in a noneducation major and teachers with temporary certificates.

During these free one-hour sessions, attendees will learn about the application process, curriculum and courses and program requirements. EPI offers blended evening classes with online components one night a week over two semesters to make participation accessible to working professionals.

Students who complete the 10-month EPI program and pass the required state exams are eligible for the Florida Department of Education's professional teaching certificate.
