The Faculty Lecture Series at SCF will present “How Do Sharks React to Fishing Gear? Important Questions in the Field of Conservation Physiology” at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 16 at SCF Bradenton, 5840 26th St. W., Building 3, Together Manatee Community Rooms, 143/146.

The lecture is free and open to the public. 

Heather Marshall, assistant professor in natural science at SCF, will discuss the issue of shark conservation and her work to incorporate stress physiology research into shark fishery studies. Professor Marshall comes to us after her Postdoctoral Research Fellow position at Mote Marine Laboratory.
